James Moore -
Founder
James Moore is a 5th-generation earthworks operator whose passion for the industry runs deep, he truly lives for it and brings an unmatched expertise to every job. James has extensive experience on national-scale infrastructure and civil projects, including:
- Wellcamp Airport, Toowoomba (Wagners)
- Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (BK Hire)
- Wind farm developments across South East QLD, North QLD, and South Australia (Catcon)
- Civil projects in Onslow and the Pilbara region of WA (NTC Contracting)
Since founding JBA Earthworks with his wife Amy, named after their three sons, Jace, Braxton, and Adam, he has focused on bringing that same reliability, precision, and commitment to the South Burnett region, helping clients build with confidence. For James, it’s not just about moving earth — it’s about building strong foundations for communities, projects, and families alike.
Amy Moore - Office Manager
Amy combines her background in real estate administration with her experience managing family life to keep JBA Earthworks running smoothly. She is deeply involved in the local community through school committees, sports clubs, and volunteering at events like Kingaroy Bacon Fest.
Amy’s focus on organisation, communication, and care ensures every project is supported from the office to the field, helping build a strong foundation for the company, the team, and their clients.
